The show reminded me of Miranda Hart’s UK series, but while Miranda's character—who was tall, large, and awkward—was amusing, Mayim Bialik as Kat isn’t quite the same. At 5'4", a bit heavier, and clumsy, her portrayal just seems depressing rather than humorous.
