Synopsis
In Newport, Gwent, Michael Aspel guides experts to a remarkable collection of finds: a teapot capable of brewing 144 cups, a somber mourning ring from the 18th century, a rare vase hailing from Hungary, a monumental painting of Britannia too grand for the house, and what is described as the finest netsuke encountered on any recent exhibition. Furthermore, Michael is presented with a home-built device employed during World War II for removing incendiary devices.
