The narrative itself is quite captivating; seeing Clint Eastwood in a Nazi uniform is striking, and his action sequences are so intense that they almost detract from the intricate plot involving spies, betrayals, and deception. It felt like if the goal was to bring World War II to a close, dispatching Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton disguised as SS officers would have been the way to do it.
