Synopsis

Following the war in post-war Germany, Private David Manning faces a deeply disturbing event: he's compelled to leave behind a severely wounded comrade, an experience that profoundly affects him. Hoping to locate other members of his unit, Manning learns from Captain Pritchett that everyone else in his platoon perished.
