I really enjoyed *It Follows*, and I’m finding a lot to like with this as well. The partnership between Mitchell and Disasterpeace is excellent again. It’s not exactly something one can connect with, but the oddness is welcome, and _Under the Silver Lake_ works as an experience to simply observe. The acting is perfectly acceptable, and while there's definitely some unnecessary stuff going on, there's also a spark of originality that makes it worthwhile.
