It’s great to see a film that does justice to such a well-known Marvel character. While the third X-Men installment had its merits, this new movie feels like the real deal.

This film proves to be enjoyable and worthwhile, but I don't think it quite reaches greatness because of a couple of things that bothered me considerably. It’s invariably enjoyable to watch Hugh Jackman portray Wolverine, however, this installment lacks excitement. Unless you're a dedicated enthusiast, it's best to pass on it.

My experience wasn’t entirely positive either. The enormous samurai set felt questionable, and now I’m curious to see what unfolds given Wolverine’s injury. Dr. Green, who goes by Viper, brought Poison Ivy from Batman to mind, which didn't sit well with me. However, Yukio, the redhead, is pretty great.

I’ve enjoyed the Wolverine films, but this installment felt lacking. I rewatched it hoping I'd overlooked something important. It’s fine for casual viewing if you happen to be bored, though definitely not essential entertainment; it remains an acceptable film.
