It was genuinely funny; *The Night Before* proved to be quite entertaining and I really liked it. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, and Anthony Mackie are excellent together—I appreciate each of the actors on their own, and as a group, they’re just as good, delivering amusing performances across the board. The premise of The Night Before feels familiar and predictable, however, the performers are excellent, and enough of the humor connects with the audience. Final rating:★★½ - There was much I enjoyed about it, but ultimately it wasn't entirely successful.
