‘The Keeper’ isn’t a film I'd describe as exceptional, though it is definitely worthwhile and features an unusual narrative. Stories set during wartime are common, but this one stands out due to its originality and the incorporation of football into the plot—a concept I haven’t encountered before. It seems unlikely that another movie quite like it will ever be made.
