I found myself enjoying this film more than I expected. I'm not keen on the music featuring the Chipmunks and Chipettes—it’s a bit too high-pitched for my taste—but I grew up watching the cartoon series, and yes, I do like the live-action movies because all six characters plus Dave have personalities that are easy to root for.
