Synopsis

In the fall of 1994, three ambitious student filmmakers journeyed to the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland, to film an unusual documentary. They disappeared without a trace, leaving behind only pieces of their footage and belongings. A year later, the film reels were found, revealing disturbing images of inexplicable events in the woods. The footage shows unsettling encounters with locals and frightening supernatural occurrences that disturb the filmmakers. Presented as found footage, the film draws viewers into this terrifying story, creating suspense and questioning what is real.
