I have mixed feelings about *’The Beekeeper’*. It provides genuinely good entertainment because Jason Statham is excellent as a seriously tough character—every moment he's in feels really well done. It’s incredibly simplistic; I have to say the plot itself is just foolish, which doesn't help given how underdeveloped the characters are, or the nonsensical nature of the action sequences, the pointless conversations, and the lack of a satisfying resolution. Basically, it’s an unintelligent action movie overflowing with meaningless explanations and not much more.

I got myself ready by watching all of the previous ___ films before seeing The Beekeeper, which is quite a pricey production. It’s brief, moves quickly, and doesn’t require much thought. Statham dispatches enemies as he typically does. He plays a regular guy, an American who simply desired some kindness in his life. People who think Australians are silly and deserve to be eliminated will likely appreciate the finale …
