I really anticipated this movie given how much I enjoyed the initial installment, and it lived up to my expectations.

The plot felt very familiar and lacked originality, though the chemistry between Garfield and Stone was a positive aspect, and some of the comedic scenes were mildly amusing. It seems like taking out the superhero elements might have resulted in a stronger romantic comedy.
