This is a terrific film, 1950’s *Sunset Boulevard*. I did feel that the section in the middle wasn't quite as captivating as the opening or closing parts, but even with that, I really enjoyed it. The writing is wonderful, and the music is superb. William Holden and Gloria Swanson are fantastic when they share a scene; it’s a remarkably well-crafted narrative.
