Synopsis

Lila comes of age in the Marolles district of Brussels, where she and her friends dream of a hip-hop dance revolution. Determined to achieve her ambition, Lila leaves home and family for Paris, confident in her ability to succeed. But life in the city takes an unforeseen path. Instead of choreography, she finds herself working as a lap dancer in a rap video, marking the start of a series of disappointments. A chance encounter with a drama teacher leads her to express herself on stage and eventually pursue stand-up comedy, where her unwavering dedication finally reveals her true calling. Her final challenge is convincing her father that she has made the right decision.
