The movie I saw felt disconnected from what the advertisements suggested; it’s as if a different story made it into the previews. The events shown in the trailer were present, but only briefly appeared on screen. I struggled to empathize with the main character because she consistently came across as unfriendly and unappreciative. This made it hard to support her or feel sympathy for her experiences. When the plot teased in the advertising finally unfolds, it stops suddenly—though this isn't the conclusion of the film, which continues on and then concludes again, but just as unexpectedly. It appeared that those involved with writing or directing had difficulty determining a suitable ending point and method. There was a sense that an initial concept evolved, shifted, and ultimately didn’t align with what came before. Ultimately, I felt frustrated and confused.
