This installment definitely feels like the least strong in the franchise, and it takes place in a setting that’s pretty out there. It has a markedly altered feel, and doesn't come across as a particularly intense or frightening film; instead, it leans heavily into comedy.

I walked away feeling let down by this film, especially considering how much I enjoyed the first two installments. The found-footage style and shaky camera work that defined the earlier films are largely absent here, and what replaces it is filled with illogical or pointless scenes. The plot itself didn't hold my interest, and they’ve inserted some attempts at humor that completely undermine any sense of tension, so …
