I really enjoyed this film. It’s true that some of the visuals seem artificial, yet it features plenty of violent scenes and a cast with talented performers. I would definitely feel afraid of such a massive snake.

You really dragged me out of bed to watch a movie about a snake? *Python*, a film made for television back in 2000. It turns out, this one actually inspired the earlier film *Boa/New Alcatraz*, and they even did a team-up, *Boa vs. Python* in 2004. A romantic relationship between two people of the same gender? That’s pretty forward-thinking for a low-budget movie! Seriously, why is Will Wheaton sporting pink hair?…
