You really dragged me out of bed to watch a movie about a snake? *Python*, a film made for television back in 2000. It turns out, this one actually inspired the earlier film *Boa/New Alcatraz*, and they even did a team-up, *Boa vs. Python* in 2004. A romantic relationship between two people of the same gender? That’s pretty forward-thinking for a low-budget movie! Seriously, why is Will Wheaton sporting pink hair?? And is Jenny McCarthy's character meant to be attractive? Because she doesn’t come across that way, unless she was intentionally going for something else, in which case, well done. At least the special effects on the dead people look decent. It's nice to see Freddy around; hopefully he can transport the snake into a dream world or something. If *Boa* is like *Aliens*, but with a snake, then this one’s like *Predator*, only with a snake. I’m eagerly anticipating *The Terminator* but with a snake – maybe we could call it *Snakinator*? Overall, it's not a terrible movie, particularly considering what it is. Still, I think *Boa* is better than this one.
