It’s attempting to be a heartwarming movie… but perhaps not quite succeeding! *Open Hearts* didn't really leave me with many strong impressions. It’s an acceptable film, the narrative is memorable, and the performances are perfectly adequate. Beyond that, it’s difficult for me to offer much more commentary, truthfully.
