This is a genuinely good, shadowy crime story with strong acting by Ray Liotta and Jason Patric. It seems like it might not have gotten as much attention as some other films from Joe Carnahan, but I was completely drawn in. This marks only the second time I’ve seen it; I watched the DVD around 2003, and now I've revisited it because of the new Arrow Films version in 4K. **4.25/5**
