Peter Lorre is performing admirably in this fairly pleasant story centered around ancient relics. His character, "Mr. Moto," becomes involved with a scheme devised by some resourceful criminals who intend to pilfer the recently unearthed crown of the Queen of Sheba before it can be secured at a San Francisco museum.
