Synopsis

Alifu, a 25-year-old Paiwan man working as a hairdresser in Taipei, is torn between his desire for gender affirmation surgery and the expectation to become the Chief of his tribe. His close friend and roommate, Pei-Zhen, who is also a lesbian, provides unwavering support. Meanwhile, Sherry, a transgender man, owns a drag queen bar and harbors a long-standing affection for a plumber named Wu, who only views him as a friend. Chris, a civil servant, leads a monotonous life and finds an unexpected outlet for stress in secretly performing as a drag queen. He must conceal this from his girlfriend, Angie. Despite their diverse identities, these individuals find common ground in their shared longing for love, acceptance, and understanding.
