Synopsis

The Mountaintop Motel offers respite to travelers in a beautiful town. Evelyn, the motel's owner, recently returned after years in an asylum, and approaches her work with unsettling eagerness. As time passes, a fragile sense of normalcy unravels, revealing a disturbing side to Evelyn. One night, she accidentally causes the death of a young guest in a moment of anger. Overcome with guilt and afraid of being discovered, Evelyn fabricates a story for the police, claiming it was an accident. Haunted by the madness she believed she had left behind, Evelyn's darkness returns. This time, she targets the motel's guests, using pests to torment them and eventually resorting to violence with her sickle to silence those who oppose her. The film is a chilling story of despair and madness, depicting a woman's descent into darkness where even innocent people become victims of her twisted actions.
