Even with Christopher Lee as Dracula, the film doesn’t quite reach the heights of the earlier Hammer productions, particularly because Peter Cushing isn’t also involved—he consistently brought out the best in Lee’s performances during that era. Nevertheless, it remains remarkably impressive and deserves to be seen. The striking poster design alone almost compensates for Cushing's lack of presence.
