Occasionally, what I really want is something funny, and films like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels are exactly right for that mood. Michael Caine and Steve Martin's performances during a sequence of comical schemes and mishaps consistently elicit laughter from me. It’s a movie I often turn to when I desire some genuine amusement without needing to engage in serious thought.
