The visuals in 'Carol' are gorgeous, and the production demonstrates a real sense of sophistication. The performances were excellent across the board. Everything about it evoked a feeling reminiscent of the 1940s. I appreciated how delicate everything appeared and felt; it really should have received considerably more recognition than it did. ★★★★
