It's a perfectly acceptable film. It’s certainly unusual to see a situation where a father gives his child a part in a movie. I felt there could have been more action sequences; it was a bit tiresome watching him deal with so many difficulties.

I wasn't particularly impressed by this film. I don’t believe it warrants the numerous one-star ratings it has received, nor do I feel that Will Smith or his son Jaden delivered performances as poor as some people suggest.
