Synopsis

He stared, dumbfounded, at the figure standing in the doorway. The school nurse? Here? At his job? The question hung in the air, thick with disbelief. He hadn't a moment to process it, to consider how this could possibly be happening. There was no time for introductions or explanations; only a sudden, jarring realization that the situation had irrevocably veered into the absurd. The prospect of actually meeting girls seemed distant enough, but *this*? It was beyond anything he’d imagined.
