The end of term approaches. Iruma diligently completes his homework and is invited by Sullivan to accompany him and Opera to Magical Street. They wander through the shops, selecting items Iruma will require for the upcoming school year. While browsing, Iruma overhears a conversation between demons and then inquires of Sullivan about the Demon King, considering him uniquely suited to the role. He wonders at the true meaning of being the Demon King, the most powerful entity in the underworld.
