It's a lovely and intentionally unclear story about queer belonging, the impact of past experiences across generations, and how we decide who is part of our family. Several characters have really stuck with me—Mae Martin, Sarah Gadon, and Toni Collette all gave incredibly strong performances, as did numerous younger cast members like Alyvia Alyn Lind!

I don’t think it’s right to encourage illness. I feel like people are unfairly giving this program bad scores just because they disapprove of its progressive themes.
