Synopsis

The air in the support group thickened with tension when Jake, with a careless smirk, echoed one of Charlie’s crude pronouncements. A wave of disapproval washed over the women, and a shared understanding passed between them. They gently but firmly persuaded Judith that continuing Jake's visits with his father and Charlie would only reopen old wounds. The decision was made: for Judith’s healing, those meetings had to end.
