Synopsis
In a community withered by drought, a farmer consumed by despair brings a lawsuit against God. Tess arrives to provide counsel, while Monica offers testimony. The ensuing trial illuminates for the farmer and the townspeople alike the importance of neighborly kindness, and underscores a harsh truth: the inherent error in attempting to measure the divine by human expectations.
