The malevolent sorcerer Kublai hunted for the Golden Scepter of the Yantzee—the sole artifact capable of dissolving his power—and brought fear upon the people of San Francisco's Chinatown as he searched. When Thundarr intervened and foiled his first efforts, the wizard summoned another barbarian, a fierce warrior named Zogar, to challenge him in combat while Kublai renewed his quest for the scepter.
