Synopsis

With graduation day drawing near, Caroline attempts to divert Elena’s attention with mundane errands – sending out invitations, for example – but Elena remains fixated on something new. Sheriff Forbes summons Damon and Stefan to the hospital; patients are under attack. Bonnie persists in her efforts to enlist Katherine's aid, unwavering in her resolve to defeat Silas. As a violent windstorm plunges Mystic Falls into darkness, ghosts materialize – some benevolent, others consumed by vengeance.
