Synopsis

The new season opens with Elena’s grim discovery of her Uncle John’s lifeless body, alongside the devastating news of Jeremy’s fate. Damon, too, is confronted with a startling truth: Katherine has returned. Elsewhere, Caroline is hospitalized after a car accident, and the enigmatic arrival of Tyler's Uncle Mason casts a shadow over the town.
