Mystic Falls prepared for a comet festival, a celebration of celestial passage. Back at the hospital, Vicki continued her slow recovery from Damon's assault. Stefan went to the hospital hoping to use his abilities to erase the memory of the attack, but Matt intervened before he could. Elsewhere, during a parent-teacher conference, Mr. Tanner cautioned Aunt Jenna that Jeremy was facing difficulties and required immediate attention.
