Synopsis

Suzu found herself bewildered by Asano’s pistol, a weapon unfamiliar from the era she knew. He abruptly pushed her from the wagon, and just then, the other travelers arrived, inquiring about the commotion. A sudden flashback struck Asano – the memory of his fall from the cliff – and he reacted with distress, retreating back into the vehicle. They explained to Suzu how they had attempted to make him understand Queen Kei, but their efforts had been fruitless. She turned to ask if he wished to join
