It’s disappointing to see another series held back by contemporary writing choices. While the narrative itself isn't bad, and the performances are commendable, these positive aspects are undermined by what feels like an unnecessary focus on inclusivity. Because of this, my rating settles at 5 out of 10; without that element, it easily could have been an 8/10.
