As Walter struggled to claim the Mask, it fractured, splitting cleanly in two. Suddenly, Stanley and the Mask were intertwined, sharing existence. Then, a figure from Stanley’s past emerged: Chet Bozzack, an old high school tormentor, seized one of the broken halves and quickly fastened it upon his face.
