Season 1Stranded in a world centuries removed from her own, what does a mermaid do? That's the question facing Sim Chung, who follows her beloved—a nobleman named Kim Dam-Ryung—across time to bustling modern Seoul. But this isn’t quite the reunion she envisioned. Dam-Ryung's lookalike is Heo Joon-Jae, a charismatic con artist with his own complicated life and an immediate interest in Sim Chung, sparked by the priceless jade bracelet adorning her wrist. Suddenly homeless and adrift, Sim Chung finds herself reluctantly under Joon-Jae’s care, sharing his chaotic home with his quirky partners-in-crime, Jo Nam-Doo and Tae-O, all of whom are running from their own past mistakes. As Sim Chung navigates the bewildering landscape of modern life, she also encounters competition for Joon-Jae's affections in Cha Si-A, a brilliant researcher captivated by ancient mysteries. But lurking beneath the surface of this unusual romance is danger. With a ruthless killer—sent by Joon-Jae’s scheming stepmother—closing in to protect her own son’s claim to the family fortune, can Sim Chung not only survive her strange new reality but also help Joon-Jae confront the escalating threats around him?20 episodes · Nov 16, 20169.320Nov 16, 20169.3
