Synopsis

The Hunger is a British/Canadian horror anthology series, co-produced by Scott Free Productions, Telescene Film Group Productions and The Movie Network. Despite sharing a title with the film *The Hunger*, this series is entirely original, created by Jeff Fazio. Originally broadcast on the Sci Fi Channel (UK), The Movie Network (Canada) and Showtime (US) from 1997 to 2000, the show comprises two seasons. Each episode features a standalone story introduced by a host: Terence Stamp for the first season, followed by David Bowie in the second. Stories explore themes of destructive desire and obsession, often incorporating elements of eroticism, cannibalism, vampires, sex, and poison.
