Synopsis

Alex Polizzi attempts to guide the owners of The Bulstone Hotel in Devon toward a fresh path. Her assessment, prompted by the discovery of faded award certificates, reveals outdated décor and a stubbornly traditional approach. Yet, her efforts encounter resistance from husband-and-wife hoteliers Judith and Kevin. Disagreements escalate into arguments, punctuated by walkouts, and a poorly timed injury further complicates what promises to be a challenging undertaking.
