Synopsis

The signature challenge required the bakers to craft a savory pastry plait, filled with a savory mixture, within a two-and-a-half-hour time limit. For the technical challenge, devised by Paul, they faced the task of baking a gala pie with piccalilli in the same timeframe. Finally, the showstopper challenge presented a four-hour undertaking: the creation of a visually stunning, sculpted tart of their own design.
