Synopsis

A novel procedure, conceived by Dr. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Claire Browne, offers the potential to save a young man's leg and his life – provided his fiancée and parents can find a path toward collaboration. Elsewhere, Jared grapples with the emotional distance separating him from a patient whose wounds, it seems, run deeper than the skin.
