Synopsis

Stephen voiced his displeasure at the recent auction sale of a severed mummy hand, a piece he had coveted as the earliest artifact bearing the insignia of "No. #1." This resentment seemed partly fueled by Rahm Emanuel’s tendency to dissuade colleagues from granting interviews to Stephen Colbert. In response, Stephen aired an interview with Emanuel conducted by Gwen Ifill of PBS, carefully selecting segments ripe for potential misinterpretation.
