Synopsis

In episode 189, the Angry Video Game Nerd tackles *Darkman*, a 1990 film of sorts—a superhero story steeped in revenge, directed by Sam Raimi. The movie served as a bridge between his earlier work on *Evil Dead* and his later venture into *Spiderman*. A game adaptation, crafted by Ocean for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, is the subject of the Nerd's disdain. It is, quite simply, awful.
