Synopsis

He was offered a way out, a path away from the cold steel of his cell, in exchange for a betrayal. To become an informant, they said, and he would be free. But the price was steep: a vow to stay away from Laure. Meanwhile, the police concentrated their efforts on the labyrinthine streets of Barbès, a Paris neighborhood where vulnerable young offenders were being exploited by those who profited from stolen goods.
