Synopsis

Servant of the People is a satirical series about Vasily, an ordinary teacher who unexpectedly becomes a national sensation when a fiery YouTube rant about his country's problems goes viral. Inspired by this sudden popularity, his students and fellow citizens launch a grassroots campaign and, incredibly, elect him as president. The series follows Vasily as he struggles to balance his newfound power with his humble roots. He continues to live with his parents, bike to work, and rely on friends for financial help. Through humor and sharp insight, Servant of the People examines integrity, dedication, and the daunting task of fighting corruption while trying to make a real difference in politics.
