Synopsis

A virus has wiped out all adults, leaving only children to survive. Now, a new danger rises: vampires. These bloodthirsty creatures have taken control of the Earth, forcing the remaining humans to live underground in exchange for their lives. At Hyakuya Orphanage, young Yūichirō and his childhood friend Mikaela dream of escaping vampire rule. Their attempt fails tragically, but not before Mikaela sacrifices himself so Yūichirō can flee. He's rescued by the Moon Demon Company, an elite extermination unit from Japan’s Demon Army. Four years later, Yūichirō is driven to avenge his lost friends and family by destroying the vampires who destroyed the world.
