Synopsis

Alexis found herself in an unfamiliar setting: a local funeral, attended by people she barely recognized. The reason for her presence was even more perplexing – a request from her boyfriend to accompany him. He had a fondness for the deceased, a man Alexis had never met, and a particular affection for the man's pets. She wasn't sure she understood this deep connection, or perhaps simply tolerated it. Her own feelings about her boyfriend’s enthusiasm for animals were… complicated.
